Children study without basic facilities in Government Primary School Haji Balach Khan Banglani, Thul.
The deplorable condition of building of Government Primary School Haji Balach Khan Banglani has left the lives of students and teachers at risk. Given negligence and apparent apathy of the Sindh education department, students study in dilapidated building which lack basic facilities & stable roof.
The structure of Government Primary School Haji Balach Khan Banglani, is in such a tumbledown state that its structure may fall any second. Besides, the school has a total enrollment of around 100 students.
It was revealed by the teachers of the school, when News10 team visited the school today to see if Sindh government’s education emergency has brought change to this most vital sector of the society.
The team were astonished when they found out that children getting education while sitting on floor under open sky in the cold weather.
Moreover, number of students was higher as compared to the furniture available in the school, News10 reported.
The Teachers told News10 that their school requires a building and other basic facilities to cope with the current situation in order to provide proper quality education, adding that even if the government provides only building, we can try to make the situation better.
The local residents said to News10 that Sindh Government’s so-called claim of imposing education emergency in the province has been exposed as none of schools in the area have proper faculty or furniture.
The villagers told that they already tried informing the relevant district education officer in Jacobabad about the school condition but still no action has been taken so far.
They demanded the government to take notice to fulfill all basic requirements which are essential for the students of Government Primary School Haji Balach Khan Banglani, so that future of their kids is not put at risk.
