The OIC’s Golden Jubilee celebrations were held in Jeddah

Pakistan participated in the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Organization of Islamic Countries.
The OIC’s Golden Jubilee celebrations were held in Jeddah under the logo: “United for Peace & Development. Pakistani folk artists, Akhtar Chanal Zehri and Akbar Khamisu Khan came to Jeddah in connection with the celebrations.
They performed here, alongside artists from across the Muslim world. The celebrations lasted for 4 days from 25 to 28 November 2019. The inaugural session was held on 25th November in which the Special Advisor to PM on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan represented Pakistan.
Later from 26 to 28 the celebrations were open for public and a large number of people came to see the performances of the folk artistes from across the Muslim countries.
The Pakistani Folk Singer and musicians, Akhtar Chanal Zehri and Akbar Khamisu Khan from Baluchistan and Sindh, cladded in their traditional dresses performed in front of a large audience, who thoroughly enjoyed the performance.
The folk singers captivated the audience with their traditional dress, music, dance and performance. The audience rose from their seats and danced to the tune of the folk songs and music. The Pakistani artists received a lot of appreciation from the audience.
